I Timothy 3:1 - 13
This is a true saying, If a man desire the
office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of
one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour,
given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not
given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy
lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
One that ruleth well his own house, having his
children in subjection with all gravity;
(For if a man know not how to rule his own
house, how shall he take care of the church of
God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up
with pride he fall into the condemnation of the
devil. Moreover he must have a good report
of them which are without; lest he fall into
reproach and the snare of the devil.
Likewise must the deacons be grave, not
doubletongued, not given to much wine, not
greedy of filthy lucre; Holding the
mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
And let these also first be proved; then let
them use the office of a deacon, being found
blameless. Even so must their wives be
grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all
things. Let the deacons be the husbands of
one wife, ruling their children and their own
houses well. For they that have used the
office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a
good degree, and great boldness in the faith
which is in Christ Jesus.

Eric
Milton
We as Christians need to develop
interpersonal relationships among ourselves to
aid in carrying out the ministries of The
Church.
Philippians 2:3-4
Let
nothing be
done through
strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind
let each esteem other better than themselves.
Look not every man on his own things, but every
man also on the things of others.
Philippians 3:12-14 Not
as though I had already attained, either were
already perfect: but I follow after, if that I
may apprehend that for which also I am
apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count
not myself to have apprehended: but this one
thing I do, forgetting those things which are
behind, and reaching forth unto those things
which are before, I press toward the mark for
the prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus.
Ephesians 3:20
Now
unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the
power that worketh in us,
Eric L. Milton loves the Lord
Jesus Christ and has served Him faithfully in
many capacities over the past 23 years. He
has served the congregation of the Lord's people
at Bush Hills as Sunday School Superintendent,
Bible class teacher, and deacon. In
1991, Eric Milton, because of his exemplary
growth, faithfulness, dedication, and Christian
example was appointed to the eldership. For
14 years, Eric Milton served in this capacity
along with Earmon Smith. In
the year of our Lord in 2005, the Lord called
Earmon Smith, elder, from labor to reward. Even
though the eldership of the Bush Hills
congregation is inactive with Earmon Smith’s
passing, Eric Milton continues to serve the
congregation as a spiritual leader. It
is evident to all that Eric Milton gained
valuable experience, wisdom, and insight while
serving as one the congregation's elders. Indeed,
Eric Milton served the congregation well in this
capacity. The
experience, wisdom, and insight that Eric Milton
gained while serving in the eldership is indeed
needed by the congregation at Bush Hills. The
congregation at Bush Hills thanks God for Eric
Milton's dedication, faithfulness, service, and
leadership, and continues to look to him for
guidance and wisdom.

Associate Minister Samuel
"Sam" Wyatt
"I want to work hard for the Lord, without my
head being spread. The New Testament teaches us
to work in the vineyard of the Lord, while at
the same time warning us not to toot our own
horn."
Mathew
20:4 And
said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard,
and whatsoever is right I will give you. And
they went their way.
Mathew 6:1-2 ¶
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men,
to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward
of your Father which is in heaven.
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not
sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites
do in the synagogues and in the streets, that
they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto
you, They have their reward.
Colossians 1:10 That
ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all
pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and
increasing in the knowledge of God;
